Chamber of Commerce of ZDK Hosts Meeting on the Development Strategy for the Metal and Electrical Sector of the FBiH 2026–2035
Based on the Decision of the Government of the Federation of BiH on the development of the Metal and Electrical Sector Strategy, a meeting of business entities and representatives of relevant institutions was held at the Chamber of Commerce of Zenica-Doboj Canton on January 29, 2026. The meeting was organized by the ZDK Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce of the FBiH and the Association of the Metal and Electrical Industry, with the aim of gathering opinions and proposals that will contribute to a high-quality and applicable Strategy.
The Federal Ministry of Energy, Mining, and Industry is leading the development of the Strategy, in cooperation with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
The meeting was held to involve representatives of cantonal chambers of commerce, business entities, and relevant institutions in the Strategy development process, ensuring that the Strategy is comprehensive, high-quality, and practically applicable across the Federation of BiH.
During the meeting, participants shared their experiences, opinions, and proposals, which will directly contribute to the Strategy’s development and the definition of guidelines for the development of the metal and electrical sector in the coming period.
