VISIT TO COMPANIES WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE CO-FUNDING PROGRAM FOR EMPLOYMENT AND EDUCATION OF ADULTS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE NEEDS OF THE LABOR MARKET OF ZENICA-DOBOJ CANTON
As part of continuous activities to improve the employability and training of adults in accordance with the needs of the labor market, thanks to the financial support of the ZDK Government, through the Ministry of Labor, Social Policy and Refugees of the ZDK, and the Federal Employment Agency, the Zenica-Doboj Canton Chamber of Commerce has been implementing the "Program of co-financing the employment and education of adults in accordance with the needs of the labor market of the Zenica-Doboj Canton" for many years.
The aim of this program is to strengthen the partnership between the economy and institutions, and through targeted support programs to enable faster integration of unemployed people into the world of work, as well as raising the level of competence of the workforce in the Canton.
This year's program refers to the training of 35 unemployed adults for the purpose of employment in targeted occupations:
• Metalworking sector - for professions welder and CNC operator;
• Wood processing sector - by profession CNC operator;
• Construction sector - plastic processor by profession;
• Sector of textiles, clothing, leather and footwear - seamstress by profession
• Occupation electrician
In order to review the implemented implementation activities and the achieved results of the Program, Minister Antonio Šimunović, Assistant Minister for Labour, Humanitarian Activities and Return Vildana Kondić, President of the ZDK Chamber of Commerce Diana Babić and colleagues visited on 29.10.2025. of the company Automatic Servis d.o.o. Visoko and Alma-Ras d.o.o. Lead - production plant Visoko, companies that for many years, thanks to synergistic action, have been successfully implementing the activities of the Program.
During the visit, the representatives of the companies presented their production capacities, employee profiles and examples of good practice within the implemented training and employment programs. During the tour of the production facilities, the guests were introduced to modern technological processes, the way of work organization, as well as the measures taken by companies to create a quality and stable working environment and new employment.
